TALISKER SKIPPER (11) Disappointing display when 8th last run at Kilmore but returning to a longer distance. David Miles takes over the steering today. In good shape since coming back from a break. Deserves consideration. AVEIRO (1) Produced an eye catching run when 3rd beaten by 14.4m last run around here and back to a rise in trip. Has the ideal alley. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. TEX GOES BANG (10) Showed some merit late when 4th last time at the track and back over extra ground. Won't be far away. FREAK OUT (4) Came in 7th last start at Ballarat. Stable have opted for a driver change with Leilani Justice steering. Should muster plenty of early speed. Must respect in this event.
