BLACK STORM (3) Missed by a narrow margin last run at Mildura. Won't be far away during the run. Has won 2 from 4 runs on a soft surface. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. LOVELYCUT (11) Freshened for this. Picked up late ground when 2nd beaten by 2 1/2L last run at Sandown but up against stronger competition. Showing positive results this preparation. Among better hopes.
