We’ve shared our analysis and expert opinions on the tournament, including our winner prediction and teams to watch right here at Stake.
BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 winner prediction
We’re picking Team Spirit to win the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 tournament. They’re the current betting favourites as the highest-ranked team and have performed well in the closed qualifiers, advancing at the expense of OG and 100 Thieves. This year, they finished as runners-up at IEM Rio and won PGL Astana while coming 3rd-4th at IEM Cologne Major. Their roster includes talented players such as magixx, donk and sh1ro who have a lot of LAN experience and perform consistently well across the map pool.
Dark horse picks for BLAST Bounty Summer 2026
Team Liquid are a good dark horse pick as one of the lower-seeded teams in the tournament. They’re the 3rd favourites in the current odds, but have much longer odds than Team Spirit. However, they looked impressive in the online closed qualifiers, beating early tournament favourite Team Vitality 2-0 before also defeating G2 Esports in 2 maps. As a result, they have a good chance to outperform expectations despite their low VRS ranking.
Team Astralis are outside the betting favourites, with odds that suggest they’re the 6th most likely team to win. However, they had good performances in the qualifiers, beating Team Nemesis and HOTU to make the LAN Finals. This year, their best performance was 2nd place at PGL Bucharest, but they also came 3rd at ESL Pro League Season 23. If they can carry their qualifier form into the LAN tournament, they have a good chance of upsetting the odds.
Notable teams to watch at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026
Team Spirit are the tournament favourites, as they're the highest-ranked team left in the competition. They’re the only remaining top-5 VRS points contender following the qualifier stage. Their roster features donk, who is arguably the best player in the competition and put up impressive performances during the qualifiers. Team Spirit also showed that they can overturn bad results, edging past OG with a gruelling 19-16 overtime score on the final map.
MOUZ are the 2nd favourites according to the latest betting odds. They’re the 2nd highest-ranked team left in the tournament behind Team Spirit, but they had a flawless run through the closed qualifiers. They beat Nuclear TigeRES and FOKUS without losing a map. Their roster features torzsi, who has shown the ability to win rounds under pressure. The recent addition of PR to their roster has also been a major boost to their winning chances.
Team Liquid are one of the lowest-ranked teams in the competition, but they’re currently 3rd favourites to win based on their impressive performance during the closed qualifier. They recently updated their roster, bringing in Jorko and JT, which has allowed them to update their tactics and strategies. EliGE has also been in elite form, with a strong 1.52 rating in their win over Team Vitality. They’ve shown that they’re capable of beating any team left in this tournament, although it remains to be seen whether they can carry that form over to the active tournament stage of the LAN Finals.
BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 map veto and matchup predictions
The BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 tournament uses a 7-map pool, with team captains taking it in turn to pick and ban maps from the pool to determine which maps will be played during the match. The map veto process is important to pay attention to when making your bets, as each team will have maps where they excel and others where they struggle. Consider this when looking at team matchups, as one team’s weakness could be the other team’s strength.

Team Spirit - Over the last year, Team Spirit have had their highest win rate and pick percentage on Dust 2. They have a win rate of at least 50% on all maps this year, but Nuke has their highest ban percentage of maps in the map pool for this tournament.

FaZe - This year, FaZe have their best win rate on Cache, although they’ve only played 4 matches there. Nuke is their most picked map, while Inferno is their most banned map from the current map pool.
MongolZ - In the past year, the MongolZ have had their highest win rate on Nuke, but Mirage is their most picked map. Meanwhile, they have banned Overpass the most.
